As an interior designer, she frequently purchased art for her clients’ residences and the San Francisco Decorator Showcase House and enjoyed the process from discovery to installation. Her work has been published in local and national publications. Tinsley also has an undergraduate degree in systems engineering and environmental science from the University of Virginia and worked in technical education and sales for several large software companies in the District of Columbia, New York, London, and San Francisco. She joined SBFA as an art consultant in October 2015.
